The Selwyn House Parents’ Association (SHPA) would like to extend its warmest welcome to the girls and their families, both those new to the school and those already familiar with this great community.

Selwyn House Parents’ Association

SHPA is part of the NZPTA. Our main goal is to work within the education system to encourage parent involvement and participation in order to assist all children to develop their talents, self-esteem, and character. This ensures they have the ability to lead a full and productive life.

Throughout the year we host various events which promote positive parent/child relationships, strengthen friendships, and foster support within our community.

SHPA Committee

Our current committee members are all parents of girls at the school. The committee is passionate about providing opportunities to help develop and strengthen the relationships between parents, teachers and students.

We value your assistance and support with not only fundraising but also friendship raising.
SHPA Events

Popular annual events include the Father & Daughter Breakfast, Mother & Daughter Event, School Disco, Parents’ Quiz Night, and Family BBQ.

There are also various one-off events.
